Documentary Film "THE LOST GLORY" An amazing glimpse into the magnificent Rohtas fort declared a UNESCO world heritage site and a marvel of medieval Muslim Military Architecture of 16th century Indian subcontinent. This film is written, produced, directed and narrated by renowned Pakistani filmmaker Shahzel Syed. 

The LOST GLORY was distributed by TPI (USA) and was released in Thailand by Cineplex TV in last quarter of 2010. 


Synopsis: An amazing glimpse into 'Rohtas Fort' a marvel of medieval Muslim Military Architecture of India. Declared a UNESCO World heritage site. Situated on the old route set by invaders coming from central Asia to conquer the Indian subcontinent, the Rohtas Fort was created by the great warrior 'Sher Shah Suri' (famous as the Tiger King), just after he defeated the second Mughal Emperor Humayun. The massive fort, which extends over four kilometers in circumference was built on a highly strategic location in the very harsh rocky landscape of the diversified Potohar region of northern Punjab that lies in in present day Pakistan.
